Residential Care

Residential care is a great choice for someone who no longer wants to live alone or maintain a household. Some people prefer to live in a residential care home as it provides them with security, social engagement, and ongoing support on a daily basis. Residents can benefit from living with like-minded people in homely surroundings while avoiding the struggles of maintaining a household.

Westerton Care Home strives to enhance someones’ overall well-being. We believe that providing residents with more than just a basic level of care will boost mental stimulation, increase physical health and improve quality of life.

Nursing Care

We offer nursing care for residents who are in need of expert medical care as well as personal care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This type of care is most suited for individuals who may have physical limitations, high dependency needs, learning disabilities or long-term health conditions.

Residents residing at our Glasgow nursing home will have our nursing teams’ undivided attention at all hours of the day and night. Each resident will be assigned their own dedicated nurse which ensures that an individual’s needs are taken care of by someone they can get to know on a personal level and feel comfortable around.

Dementia Care

Our team collectively has many years of experience working with people who have lived with dementia. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach to dementia care, which is why the care and support we provide at Westerton Care Home is completely tailored to the circumstances of every individual.

Our Activities Coordinators are thrilled to offer interesting activities that are inclusive for everyone. Our primary goal is for residents to be happy in their environment by providing them with everything they could possibly need to flourish.

Respite Care

Respite Care is available to anyone who requires a break from their caregiving duties. This form of care provides caregivers with the opportunity to unwind while we take care of their responsibilities for a while.

Respite Care is also appropriate for those who need some time to fully recover from an illness or injury until they are ready to return to normal life. It can also be used as a way of trialling a care home before deciding to move there full-time.
