Scottish care awards 2017

We are delighted to announce we have two finalists in the Scottish Care Awards 2017.

Resident and talented artist Nora Liberi, 92, has been nominated for The Resident Achievement Award, which seeks to celebrate the lives of individuals and their continued achievements whether within the home or in the wider community: Nora has been like a breath of fresh air within the care home, improving the lives of all her fellow residents Lynn Fenton, Unit-Staff Nurse.

The Nurse of the Year award is presented to an outstanding individual who represents effective nursing practice within the care home environment and we are delighted that our nurse Jennifer Stein, 25, has been nominated: feel that Jennifer epitomises the spirit, dedication and caring role of the nursing profession Barbara McQuillan, Relative of a Resident.

We wish the best of luck to both Nora and Jennifer, whatever the outcome however, they're always our winners!
