Refreshing Westerton Care Home’s Brand Identity

Here at Westerton Care Home, we're passionate about making sure our residents get the most out of their days, encouraging them to keep busy and do what they love as well as getting involved in a range of the activities we have on offer. We try and get them out and about as much as possible because its beneficial for their physical and mental wellbeing.

Westerton is a great location that if a family member wants to join in on the fun, there are several local public transport options for our residents family and guests to take advantage of.

Due to needing an upgrade, we've recently purchased a brand new minibus which has also been branded to represent Westerton Care Home.

Our residents will get lots of use out of this new minibus taking our residents out and about in the local area of East Dunbartonshire and further afield. We know that everyone will benefit greatly from more social outings now that we have a regular outing plan in place. Multiple studies have shown that socialising is highly important for our residents, improving their cognitive function and episodic memory. We try and combine our social gatherings with some from of active movement, whether that's walking or a little activity, improving their strength, balance and overall physical health.

Having the branded mini bus alongside having some new fleeces made with the Westerton logo helps promote our care home within the community that little bit more.
