    Heather qualified as an RGN in 2009. Heather has worked in Care Home roles since 2009 as Staff Nurse, Unit Manager and Deputy Manager, with her most recent role working as a Home Manager for 5 years in Ayrshire.

    Lesley is our Deputy Manager, she is also a Registered General Nurse, who qualified in 2006, with over 5 years of Care Home experience working within Management roles, Lesley is also our Dementia Specialist Nurse, our champion and is looking forward to bringing her wealth of knowledge to the home.

    Joy qualified as a Nurse from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2017, she has worked in healthcare for 10 years, ranging from Home Care, Hospitals, Theatre and ICU. Joy loves getting to know the residents and making them feel at home.

    Louise Buckley is the Unit Manager for Bute and Tiree Units. Louise has worked within Westerton since 2015 and has continued to develop her career from Team Leader to Unit Manager. Louise has shown great leadership skills and will lead her team to ensure a high quality person-centred care is provided.

    Lorrie was previously a care home manager but realised during the pandemic how much she enjoyed a more hands-on direct contact role with residents and families. When Lorrie was offered the ideal position as unit manager, it allowed her to work both as a nurse and to utilise her management skills to support and develop the unit. Lorries enjoy working in Westerton as every day is different, she has been employed at with us for the last 2 years.
